When they closed their doors, Machine Tool Builders, the parent company of Diablo Furnaces, decided to open a new branch of their business. Diablo now holds an unprecedented place in the market as one of the only heat-treating solution providers in the United States able to complete custom furnace design.Job DescriptionPrepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, tools, and materials.Lays out, assembles, and installs pipe systems.Selects type and size of pipe, and related materials and equipment to include supports and hangers.Cuts pipe, using saws, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine.
