Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and committed Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our 110,000 square-foot manufacturing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations environment is safe, sanitary, and systematically organized to support optimal production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Cleaning: Thoroughly sweep, mop, and maintain various floor areas within the facility using both manual and electric cleaning equipment.

• Equipment Handling: Operate electric floor scrubbers and other cleaning machinery safely and efficiently to ensure all areas are dust-free and sanitized.

• Waste Management: Deconstruct and dispose of cardboard boxes and other packaging materials. Manage recycling procedures and ensure disposal aligns with sustainability practices.

• Organizational Maintenance: Assist in organizing shelves, storage areas, and common spaces to maintain an orderly work environment.

• Sanitary Compliance: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, staff kitchen areas, and other communal spaces regularly to meet health and safety standards.

• Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning and bathroom supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available and stocked.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in janitorial services or facility maintenance preferred.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and workplace safety procedures.

• Ability to operate industrial cleaning and maintenance equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in providing a clean environment.

• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and manage physical activities.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
