Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to operate both power and hand tools.

Responsibilities:

- Perform various landscaping tasks such as digging, planting, and mulching

- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers

- Use hand tools to perform tasks such as pruning, weeding, and edging

- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months

- Provide lawn care services including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating

- Assist with tree care including pruning, trimming, and removal

- Install and maintain irrigation systems

- Create and maintain landscape designs according to client specifications

- Ensure proper maintenance of garden beds, including watering, fertilizing, and weed control

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred

- Knowledge of mechanical operations and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools

- Familiarity with snow plowing techniques and equipment

- Understanding of lawn care practices including fertilization and aeration

- Knowledge of tree care techniques including pruning and trimming

- Ability to irrigate landscapes effectively

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
