Do you have a passion for fashion? We’d love for you to be on our team as a part-time summer sales associate at our new mobile boutique, which will be located in the heart of Okoboji for the summer of 2024!

Mac’s Boutique is a small family owned online & mobile boutique. With a love for fashion and shopping, we created Mac's Boutique, where we aim to offer you products that are cute and affordable! Not only have we got the trendiest clothing, but we can also guarantee that they are of the finest quality!

Candidates will be chosen based on experience, schedule flexibility, and honesty. Preferred candidates will have recent experience selling women's fashion to a clientele of all ages and possess the ability to deliver a high-quality shopping experience to our customers. Computer experience is necessary, as well as a willingness to perform all related non-sales functions associated with an apparel store.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating sales by providing each customer with an exceptional shopping experience. You will be expected to deliver efficient, friendly and knowledgeable service and ensuring the store is neat, clean and well-presented at all times. We are looking for someone who has effective communication skills while making a fun and exciting experience for customers while shopping.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serves customers by helping select products.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling and sharing product knowledge.
• Greeting & receives customers in a welcoming manner and eagerness to help.
• Genuinely and consistently treat all customers like they are the most important person including eye contact, a smile and a genuine “Thank you”
• Responding to customer needs in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Directing customers to merchandise racks, or areas of interest.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving & stocking merchandise.
• Accounting for all inventory
• Maintain standards of neat, clean and organized sales floor and fitting room to ensure the store environment is safe and presentable for customers. This includes dusting and cleaning.
• Effectively check in incoming merchandise, label and put out on the sales floor.
• Help with product placing and merchandising throughout the boutique.
• Processing financial transactions including cash, checks, credit/debit cards quickly and accurately.
• Maintain store appearance, facing merchandise, refolding & hanging items.
• Meets Mac’s Boutique dress and grooming expectations in support of a professional, clean and welcoming environment for customers, co-workers and business partners.
• Daily reports to manager of sales.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Schedule:

Must be flexible to work every other weekend or as needed.

Wednesday 10am – 4pm

Thursday 10am – 4pm

Friday 10am – 4pm

Saturday 10am – 4pm

Sunday 11am – 3pm

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and or 1-3 months of sales experience.

Physical/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
