Tear Down Clerk

The Tear Down Clerk position processes required unit deal files according to company and industry standards. The Tear Down Clerk is responsible for organizing and closing deal folders; separating and filing documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for clearing all new and used unit deal folders for processing and prepping folders for accounting department.
• Review deals to ensure all deal paperwork and documentation are signed, authorized, and filed correctly.
• Label and organize all deal folders.
• Tear down the whole deal and cross-reference the deal checklist to confirm receipt of all required documents.
• Distributes all documents to the necessary place for finalizing.
• Follow-up on incomplete or missing deal information; escalate to appropriate manager(s).
• Process contracts and required lender documents; forward to lender for funding.
• Check and update funding daily and make sure all stipulations are cleared.
• Post and package deals, prepare contract documents and send to banks.
• Document dealer exchanges and payoff trades.
• Process and reconcile rebates, warranties, warranty cancellations and reserves.
• Provide overflow title clerk support.
• Support month-end close and close-out of deal files.
• Complete all job duties in an organized manner with critical attention to detail.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
• Valid driver’s vehicle and acceptable driving record
