JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Facilities Controller

Employer: MAAS Aviation Brookley, Inc.

Line Manager: Facilities, Jigs & Tooling Coordinator

Direct Reports: No

Base Location: Mobile, AL., United States

Travel: None Expected

In General:

The Facilities Controller is responsible for the maintenance & cleanliness, both preventative and unplanned for the facility as well as company jigs and tooling.

Essential Duties:

The Facilities Controller is responsible for ensuring the building, equipment and tools are all maintained and kept in good working order.

· Performing regular inspections on building systems and equipment.

· Performing maintenance/repairs on general building fixtures as needed.

· Performing maintenance on company tooling and equipment.

· Performing cleaning work on the amenities, offices, and stores areas.

· Maintaining inventory of consumables and parts needed for duties.

· Responding to Urgent Maintenance calls.

· Maintenance for building systems and vehicles.

· Supervising any onsite maintenance workers.

· Ensuring maintenance workers conform to MAAS Health and safety and Environmental guidelines.

· Coordinating waste pickups and documentation of the completion of these activities.

· Maintaining a maintenance job list for all work completed/in progress on building systems and company jigs and tooling.

Secondary Duties:

The Facilities Controller may be assigned various secondary duties, including but not limited to the following:

Assisting with materials controller and their daily duties as required.

Additional Requirements and Guidelines:

  • At least 18 years old at the time of application.

· Must be able to work shifts including nights and weekends as needed.

· Must be able to work overtime as needed.

  • Eligible for employment within the US.
  • Willing to submit to a drug and alcohol screen.
  • Willing to submit to a background check.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to see clearly with or without lenses.
  • Ability to hear clearly with or without aids.
  • Must comply with all company rules, policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move around the office and plant throughout the day and reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally.

· Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists to grab and hold heavy equipment.

  • Must have the ability to climb in a safe manner (climbing as a minimum includes stairs, scaffolding, ladders & ramps).
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
