Maaribu is a local lifestyle brand based in Austin. Our South 1st Street store is a home goods shop with a coffee shop and in-house made pastries. We specialize in gifts, bedding, kitchenware, furniture and wellness products. Our Guadalupe Street store is a retail furniture showroom with furniture, decor and bedding, with additional Design Services for clients who wish to special order furniture and design entire rooms in their homes.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.

The ideal applicant has:

- 3 years of experience in luxury furniture sales or luxury retail sales

- Proven track record of hitting and surpassing sales targets in a high-end retail environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships

- Deep understanding of luxury furniture brands, styles and materials

- An enthusiastic, friendly, and outgoing personality

- A professional demeanor and presentation

- Ability to effectively motivate and inspire team members to achieve sales goals

- An appreciation and enjoyment of design and beautiful interiors

- Open availability, must include weekends (store is closed on Mondays)

- Able to be on your feet during retail hours and ability to lift 40 pounds

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
