Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, structures or material.
• Sand all surfaces designated for refinishing.
• Apply Cleaning solvents, adhesives, caulking, sealants or coatings
• Mask vehicle body in preparation for painting.
• Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals, according to specifications.
• Operate vehicles, organize shop lot, assist with delivering/picking up vehicles from fleet clients.
• Clean equipment or machinery.
• Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. to complete quality work.
• Prime or paint vehicle, assist Lead Painter.
• Read work orders and instructions.
• Organize, plan and prioritize work.
• Distinguish colors.
• Follow all safe work practices
• Complete other daily tasks associated with shop needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Previous experience Required
• I-CAR certification preferred
• Strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Sanding - Automotive Paint Prep: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Paul, MN 55117: Relocate before starting work (Required)
