Position Overview: We are looking for a Purchasing Agent to join our procurement team. As the purchasing agent you will be responsible for maintain relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, processing purchase orders, and verifying delivered items.

To be successful as a Purchasing Agent you should be able to assess products, and services for M3 Technology Group Integration Department.

Essential Job Duties:

• Purchases goods and services according to the company’s policies and procedures.
• Distributes purchasing information to involved parties including vendors, sales representatives, and employees.
• Coordinates with project managers on sourcing goods within established need-by window
• Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate.
• Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.
• Update and maintain purchasing information in Wrike and Acumatica.
• Regular and predictable attendance as scheduled.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Regular attendance and participation in Project Kick-Off meetings
• Provide internal team support among multiple departments

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
• Desire to contribute and suggest best practices

Education and Experience

• 1 to 3 years Purchasing Experience
• Some college preferred
• Experience in Wrike or Acumatica preferred

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check
