Overview:

M247 is looking for a Wireless Networking Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wireless technologies and experience designing and implementing wireless networks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and manage wireless networks
• Conduct site surveys and coverage testing
• Develop and maintain network documentation
• Participate and lead in the design, planning and implementation of wireless systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive network solutions
• Troubleshoot wireless network issues

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, and other wireless protocols
• CWDP, CCNP Wireless, ACMP or equivalent experience
• Strong Ekahau experience in conducting wireless site surveys (Predictive, Active, Passive, Post, Spectrum, and Outdoor) designing and troubleshooting wireless networks
• Strong understanding of Cisco DNAC, ISE, 802.1x, ClearPass, Routing and Switching.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in wireless networking
• Expertise in Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies and solutions

Requirements:

• Must pass a thorough background check and 12-panel drug test
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Travel requirement up to 50%
• US citizens or green card holders only
• 1099 or C2C only
• No agencies or recruiting firms

Compensation:

• Hourly rate range $55 - $95
• Travel expenses reimbursed per client travel policy
