Travel Possible M1 is looking for a(n) Tools and Parts Attendant Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment,such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment.* Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers.* Searches for lost or misplaced tools and prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory andrequisitions stock as needed.* Unpacks and stores new equipment.* Visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-outequipment to superiors.* May coat tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun.* May attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electricmarking toolQualifications and Experience:* High School diploma or GED is mandatory.* Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred.* Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data).* Must speak, read, write, and understand English.* Obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements.* Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required.* Current valid U.S. Driver's License.* Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous andprofessional manner. * Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
