MR Liquor is looking to hire a part-time associate who will work as a store clerk.

Our ideal candidate MUST HAVE solid liquor store work experience (Minimum 1 years at Spec's, Total Wine, or small liquor store). Knowledge level of brands of vodka, tequila, whiskey/bourbon, beer and wine is desired. However, expertise in just a few of those areas is acceptable.

As a Liquor Associate, you are an integral member of our team with various responsibilities including:

1. Providing EXCELLENT service to our customers including recommending beer, wine or liquor based on their preferences.
2. Managing inventory count
3. Operating Clover POS system to receive payments of cash or credit card and issuing receipts. Keep track of all cash and credit transactions.
4. Receiving deliveries and re-stocking
5. Keeping the store clean and organized
6. Assisting management with overseeing store performance
7. Deliver products to customer homes using own transportation.

Tuesday 2:00pm – 9:00pm

Wednesday 12:00pm – 9:00pm

Thursday – Saturday 10:00am – 9:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Enforce all TABC and liquor laws including checking ID; following all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Manage Various transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Accurately process all cash and credit payments
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas. Regular store maintenance such as Sanitizing, Cleaning, Sweeping, and Moping as needed.
• Arrange and rotate all merchandise on shelves and inside the main cooler.
• Stock coolers/freezers (i.e. beer, wine, soda, etc.) and sets up displays (i.e. price tags/signage).
• Stocking may involve carrying large quantities of beer, liquor, and wine. This will require lifting/carrying merchandise that weighs up to 50 pounds.
• Ensures all pricing, signage, and display information is correct at all times in-store.
• Open or Close store on time in accordance with hours of operation.
• Be able to commute to the business with reliable transportation.
• Be able to deliver to customers using your own vehicle and within a 15 minute radius of the business.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation with insurance to make deliveries.
• Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service
• Must be able to work in a fast past environment and be comfortable with multi-tasking.
• Basic mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
