Heavy Equipment Operator

M&N Excavators, a full-service contractor specializing in site work, utilities and transportation construction located in Oxford Mississippi is now hiring for Heavy Equipment Operators. We offer top pay for the region and excellent benefits plus the opportunity for advancement with our company. The operator must be versatile in experience with multiple types of equipment. Specific experience as a finish operator and clean driving record required. Limited travel may be necessary. $20 to $30 per hour DOE, retention bonuses may be available up to $5000 total in the first year.

Job Summary

• Inspection before and after use

• Maintain clean equipment for safe work environment

• Uses either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate equipment

• Read and follow written instructions to complete excavation work

• Identify and avoid overhead and underground hazards

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2 plus year experience

• Must have good vision and hearing (either naturally or with correction)

• Ability to remain stationary in seat/operating area for prolonged periods

• Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports and paperwork

• Ability to work overtime

• Must work well independently and as part of a team

• Strong work ethic

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
