Job SummaryThe Donation Pickup Driver is responsible for driving a box truck to pick up donated items from donors, including small furniture, household goods, clothing, and other items. The driver must have excellent customer service skills and be able to interact professionally with donors. The driver must also be able to lift heavy items and load them onto the vehicle safely.The Donation Pickup Driver is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all donated items, including donor information, item descriptions, and quantity. They must also ensure that all items are secured properly during transport to the Company’s warehouse or other designated locations.The driver must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations. They must also be able to follow instructions, work independently, and adhere to all safety protocols.Overall, the Donation Pickup Driver plays a critical role in the organization's mission to collect donated items and turn into funds for our charitable partners.
