The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for tracking pay item quantities, operating GPS equipment on the ground (rovers, total stations, etc.), and daily paperwork for the project. This person will work with the superintendent to ensure that all necessary administrative tasks are up to date. They will accompany the superintendent to weekly progress meetings and be a part in the long-term strategic planning of the project.

Additional responsibilities for this position also include various tasks directed by the superintendent on a day-to-day basis to complete the project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pertinent daily information such as Miss Digs, Accident Reporting,
• Track Employee & Equipment hours
• Track Work and Pay Item Quantities
• Field measure pay items in accordance with proper units of measurement
• Operate, Set up, and Take down GPS Equipment and base station(s) daily
• Collect and Log Material Tickets & Daily Trucking Logs
• New Hire Paperwork & Time Off Requests
• Manage Land Use Agreements
