Molnlycke is hiring a Transport Analyst in our Anderson office!

We’re looking for someone with a consistently high level of performance in transportation-related activities. Your focus on customer satisfaction, both internally and externally, ensures that transportation services meet or exceed expectations daily. The individual in this role plays a crucial part in supporting end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across various supply chain elements for optimized performance. Through these efforts, the position significantly contributes to the overall success and satisfaction within the transportation and supply chain domains.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll do:

  • Using TMS to monitor flows from manufacturing sites into North American DC’s and act on deviations finding proper solutions ensuring correct priorities and service level. Ensure costs for detention/demurrage are avoided.
  • To plan outbound shipments utilizing truck fill rate in the best possible way
  • To monitor replenishment transport to local warehouses and in between sites. Secure solutions on deviations and ensure kept timelines to be removed
  • To monitor transport performance including special services on freight to customer and act on critical situations and develop action plans in order to reach targeted performance levels
  • To lead TOP(Transport Operational Performance) call for the market you are in charge( act as a back-up on other markets if needed)
  • To secure solid holiday planning for each geography
  • To be Subject Matter Expert (SME) for setup of transport related activities when it comes to country specifics, IT and system settings, lead times, delivery terms and service codes, quality requirements etc.
  • To support the rollouts and ensure functionality required by the market prior implementation by the partner
  • To follow up on complaints about transport and ensure contractual levels are achieved and stretched even further
  • To monitor EDI flows of transport data, including acting to resolve issues and secure data required is provided
  • To do the follow-up of returns from customers and take actions if needed
  • To ensure adequate communication towards North American Warehouses/GCC/markets/SCP/QA Team/ Controlling Team and logistics partners
  • To provide Transport KPI’s, analyze and follow up with corrective actions
  • To find continuous improvements through a lean methodology (such as A3) that generates increased quality, decreased cost, saves time or improves service
  • To perform manual transport bookings(inbound) and required truck planning

What you’ll need:

  • 2-3 years’ experience within logistics (including inbound, outbound, warehousing, transport & 3PL) or bachelor’s degree
  • Documented customer-oriented approach
  • Analytical and monitoring skill set is required
  • Experience from work with continuous improvement.
