People Operations Specialist (HR Operations Specialist)

LOCATION: Remote

What you'll do:

  • Manage incoming tickets and inquiries related to HR operations, including credentialing questions, system access support, and general policy inquiries.
  • Assign tickets to appropriate teammates and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Respond promptly to voicemails and emails, directing inquiries to the relevant team members as needed.
  • Maintain inbox hygiene by deleting spam, filing important notifications (e.g., terminations, new hires), and responding to wage and employment verification requests.
  • Oversee the management of employee files in our HR system, including document uploads and organization.
  • Assist with system updates and changes, such as SuccessFactors file category naming.
  • Handle ongoing employee credentialing processes, including responding to portal inquiries and managing master data reports.
  • Generate and distribute reports as needed, including new hire reports, address change reports, and billing reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting to external partners (e.g., FleetPro, LeasePlan).
  • Manage billing inquiries related to HealthStream, Concentra, and HireRight, ensuring timely resolution and accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including completing wage and employment verification requests and other ad hoc tasks.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and processes, including experience with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with ticketing systems is preferred.
