M. L. Caccamise Electric Corp. is a commercial/industrial electrical contracting company, serving the Heavy Highway electrical industry, including highway lighting and traffic signal construction needs since 1978, headquartered in Rochester, New York.

DIRECTIONAL DRILL / DIGGING MACHINE OPERATOR

• Operating Vermeer D24x40 and D20x22 directional bore machines.
• Operating excavators, skid steers, backhoes and other construction site equipment, with good understanding of trench excavating and the ability to excavate around active utilities.
• Exit machine and assist groundsmen with inground operations as needed.
• Follow directions of foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
• Perform daily pre-and post-equipment inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints.
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, or materials to ensure items are in usable condition.
• Maintain vehicle log, inspection forms, maintenance record and daily driver reports.
• Must keep trucks and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist with other duties as required.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Performs other duties as determined and required by project need.

Directional Drill/Digging Machine Operator Skills/Qualifications:

• Possess a clean, valid NYS driver’s license
• Possess a Class B or A CDL license
• OSHA 10-hour safety training a plus.
