LaunchMØDE Performance is the premier fitness facility located within MØDE Campus, dedicated to providing members with top-notch training programs and a supportive community environment. From CrossFit to Strength and Conditioning, TRX, Circuit Training, and beyond, we offer a diverse range of fitness programs designed to challenge and inspire our members to achieve their goals.

Position Overview:As the Fitness Program Director at LaunchMØDE Performance, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fitness programs, including program creation, scheduling, staff management, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality training experiences to our members. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of passionate fitness professionals and create innovative and engaging programs that cater to a wide range of fitness levels and interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell memberships to amenities within the building. Follow up on warm leads for memberships providing information, answering inquiries, and guiding prospective members through the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, prospects, and memberships, using CRM software or other designated systems.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fitness programs, including class schedules, curriculum development, and instructor hiring and training, to meet the needs and preferences of our members.
  • Program and schedule a variety of classes, including CrossFit, Strength and Conditioning, TRX, Circuit Training, and other fitness modalities, ensuring a diverse and balanced offering.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of qualified fitness instructors and staff members, providing guidance, support, and ongoing feedback to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at driving membership growth, retention, and revenue generation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in fitness programming and equipment, incorporating new ideas and innovations into our offerings.
  • Utilize scheduling platforms, POS systems, and other software tools to manage class registration, membership tracking, and financial transactions efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in a membership-based or service-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences and build rapport with prospects and members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and objectives.
  • Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor credentials from a recognized certifying organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, CrossFit) required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in fitness program management, including program development, staff supervision, and member engagement, preferably in a gym or fitness center setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of fitness professionals and create a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for health and fitness, capable of designing unique and effective training programs that appeal to a diverse audience.
  • Proficiency in scheduling platforms, POS systems, and other fitness industry software tools.
  • CPR/AED certification and knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in fitness programming and facility management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field preferred.
