Position Summary 

The Fuel Injection Technician focuses on testing, disassembly, rebuilds, and replacing parts as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Repair of fuel injection pumps and fuel injectors (training provided)
• Clean and test HPCR Diesel Fuel Injectors on a BOSCH EPS205 Test Bench
• Test & rebuild all conventional mechanical injectors
• Disassemble and clean fuel injection pumps being rebuilt
• Testing of Electronic Common Rail Injectors
• Testing of Electronic Unit Injectors (EUI)
• Operate and perform maintenance on injector test stands
• Calibrations to manufacturer specification
• Maintenance of test equipment as directed
• Follow directions and standard safety procedures
• Maintain a clean work environment

· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Work with hand tools. Manufacturer’s special tools provided.
• Works with Micrometer and Caliper (We will train)
• Ability to stand at workstation throughout shift
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work as an individual contributor while assisting co-workers as customer needs fluctuate
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Follow all safety policies

· Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening

· Shop environment that can include exposure to loud noises, dirt, and dust

· Ability to squat, kneel, and bend over

· Ability to lift objects to shoulder level 

· Ability to lift, move, and carry objects to 50 lbs.
