Pay Range: $86,550- $138,480 Position Summary The Infrastructure & Automation specialist supports the design, implementation, monitoring and managing the network solutions for the customers to ensure maximum uptime. The role can include system configurations and documenting the installation of a new network and maintaining and performs upgrade to software as required. Technical Responsibilities: • Infrastructure team supporting security and facilities teams • Firewall rules • Network administration • Windows administration • Supporting corporate campuses, data centers, global locations Service & Maintenance: • Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning • Serves as backup for team members during paid time off. • Perform hardware / software upgrades and replacements on existing systems Work Schedule: • Required time in the office 2 days/week, any 2 days. Other days can be remote. • On-site requirements could increase at any time • Must participate in on-call rotation for after hours support. Any time spent after hours can be used to offset regular hours. Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: • CompTIA Network • CompTIA Security • CompTIA SySA • CCNA • CCNP Communication Skills • Strong oral, technical writing, and presentation skills • Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients and other network/system stakeholders. Behavioral Skills: • Must be able to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures and demanding environment. • Must be a resourceful self-starter, flexible, pro-active, solution-oriented and customer-oriented. Licensure/Certification: • Experience in computer networks • Experience with ticketing and monitoring toolset. • Experience in one or more network related hardware and software. • Standard Office Software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) • Standard Network Software (Visio, Wireshark, Putty, CLI, etc) Preferred Experience / Education: • 3 to 5 years of experience with a Master's degree in engineering or higher (subtract 2 years from experience requirement) • 5 to 7 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical IT, or Computer engineering or related fields Abilities: • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. • Sitting for extended periods of time. • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard. • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. • Identify and understand the speech of another person. |
