Position Summary: The System Administrator will assist with maintenance activities related to the customer's on-site Audio Visual (AV) and Intrusion Detection (IDS) system. The System Administrator will assist the maintenance team on site daily by performing daily checks of the AV and IDS system, troubleshooting equipment, installing devices, cabling, and other hardware as required. The System Administrator will be responsible for reporting the system status to the Project Leader and key on-site stakeholders. The System Administrator will be responsible for assisting with corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance tasking.
Responsibilities: •
Technical Tasks oMust have experience with Christie Controllers, Crestron, and Haivision.
oExperience with IDS systems including DMP, Vindicator, FFT and others
oStrong knowledge of AV equipment including video walls, intercoms, inputs/outputs, controllers, mounting
oPerform preventative maintenance tasking on AV and IDS equipment including visual checks, testing, and cleaning as required
oPerform corrective maintenance on AV and IDS equipment and customer systems
oPerform emergency maintenance on AV and IDS equipment and customer systems as required
oCommunicate system status updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
oIdentifying, troubleshooting and reporting issues to Project Leader
oCreating, editing, and closing work tickets in the customer's inventory management system
oLead the on-site software commissioning and testing
oLead inspections, evaluations, and inventory projects
oAssist with feedback on configuration control requests
oDocumenting daily reports and project progress
oCommunicating project and team member issues/concerns to management
oCommunicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates

Administrative Tasks oAbility to complete daily timesheet
oPerform all duties with minimal direct supervision
oOrganize and prepare detailed documentation on the inventory management system including reports, analysis reports, and performance reports.
oMaintain large amounts of data with precision

oTrain system users and other system support personnel as needed

Requirements - An active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with the US Federal Government.
- Requires minimum 3-5 years of experience in system administration and experience with AV, maintenance, and IDS systems.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree
- Work on site daily in the customer's environment
- Ability to maintain consistent core working hours
- Understanding of Electronic circuit testing procedures and testing devices.
- Experience using Volt/ AMP meter and related
