Lytle Title & Escrow, LLC is an established title and real estate settlement company with offices located in Newport, Williamsburg and Richmond, Virginia. We are currently seeking a part-time qualified individual to process seller transaction files in our Newport News office. All interested parties should forward copy of resume with cover letter. All inquiries will be confidential.

Job Functions:

• Review Deeds, Deeds of Trust, real estate contracts, and other loan and title documentation for accuracy
• Clearing title issues for settlement
• Ordering lien payoffs
• Communicate with real estate agents, lenders, customers, vendors and other legal professionals
• Confirm compliance with Federal, State and real estate regulations and industry guidelines
• Perform data entry using lender Instructions; including verifying real estate taxes and other special assessments
• Schedule closings and any other function necessary to complete the settlement transaction

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years real estate title closing/processing experience in purchases, sales and refinance transactions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently at a high pace.
• Maintain integrity and superior ethical conduct at all times
• SoftPro experience required. Microsoft Office knowledge a plus.
