We are looking for fresh faces to join our team here at the legendary Lyric Coffee House - Clayton's only specialty coffee shop here in the beautiful 1000 Islands. Since opening our doors in 2006, we have maintained a reputation of quality coffee in a comfy environment for locals and visitors alike! Open year round, employees are able to rely on work through the slower fall and winter months and closing at 4pm, you have evenings to yourself.

We are hiring full-time and part-time baristas and our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable. BONUS: we would love it if you loved coffee as much as we do!

This position is fast-paced and centered around the customer experience whether it be meeting the needs of folks who know what they want, or helping to educate customers on the vast and wonderful world of coffee.

Upon completion of 2 weeks training, baristas split tips evenly per shift, averaging at $90 take home cash per day in the summer and $30 in the winter.

Responsibilities

• Welcome in customers with a smile and foster a friendly environment
• Prepare hot and cold drinks as well as food and pastry to order with urgency
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area while following health and safety guidelines
• Daily cleaning and prep tasks to keep the place running like a well-oiled machine
