Description
Lyons Specialty Co., LLC is a family-owned C-Store Wholesale Distributor servicing locations in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas and is proud to be celebrating its' 100th Year Anniversary this year.
We are looking for dedicated warehouse associates to join our team! Our warehouse associates are essential for the continued success of great service provided to our customers.
Our warehouse staff is responsible for managing daily operations of our inventory by receiving incoming orders, ensuring that inventory is properly stocked and preparing customer orders for delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and process orders placing them in totes, boxes, and/or on pallets using the PickRight Scanning software system
- Ensuring shelves are fully stocked with the correct product using a scanning software system.
- Unpacking, breakdown and disposal of boxes
- Restock returned goods
- Use and safe handling of utility knife, pallet jack and/or forklift
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
- Fill out damage inventory reports for any items damaged during picking or stocking
- Accurately and efficiently loading product onto trucks for delivery
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months - 1 year previous warehouse experience preferred
- Great communication, organizational and time management skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Should be knowledgeable of warehouse safety rules and able to operate warehouse machinery or equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to read, write legibly, and do simple math
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check

1st Shift - M-F 7:00 - 4:30 PM (These are typical hours, Hours may vary according to workload)
2nd Shift-M-TH-2:00 PM until work is complete-Order selectors have an opportunity to earn up to $20/hr based on production
