The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain a professional/friendly persona in all types of situations and with all types of customers. The right candidate will also have the ability to help exceed customer expectations. Some of the daily tasks involve (but not limited to) Pulling cables in new and existing construction, terminating cables, hanging TVs and/or projectors and the other Audio Video gear installation. Experience is preferred. Technicians will demonstrate thorough understanding of cabling standards and proper installation and set-up of electronics.
Responsibilities
This position entails installing and servicing home automation systems, including AV, Comfort, lighting, shades, and security. Technicians are the in-person representative for the Lynn's AV team on each jobsite in the Project Manager’s absence. They are responsible for ensuring that the right product is installed correctly and in the right place, installing racks, troubleshooting and testing systems, and some rough-in work as necessary.
A Technicians position requires consistent communication with Project Managers, other technicians, contractors, vendors, other internal departments, and clients and their representatives. This communication includes written, online, verbal, in-person, and over the phone formats. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to the success of each project.

Lynn's AV is looking for a qualified candidate who has hands-on experience in the AV industry, preferably as a technician. Formal education in the electrical or AV fields is a bonus, but is not required. Proficiency in wired and wireless networks and the ability to read construction plans is an integral part of this position, although some training may be available for the right candidate.
