Our client specializes in overweight transloads in Newark, NJ. They are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our distribution center.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a solid background in warehouse management. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient materials handling, inventory control, and overall warehouse productivity.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
• Train and develop warehouse employees on proper procedures and safety protocols
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures
• Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products in compliance with company standards
• Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory counts and shipments
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during daily operations

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
• 4-6 years warehouse and team lead or supervisory experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouses.
• OSHA Forklift operator certificate.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Pay and Shift :

• Monday - Friday Some weekends are a must.
• 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
• $55.000 to $60.000
