Our client is looking for Machine Operator in Delano, CA to join their team. In this position you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, cleaning, repair and complete operation of fruit packaging equipment.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate bagging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physically lift bags as part of the operational process.
• Operate various types of machinery involved in the packing process.
• Follow and adhere to strict safety guidelines at all times.
• Use grading equipment, labelers, and baggers to sort and prepare products for packing.
• Adjust, maintain, and clean packing machines regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Fold cardboard containers as part of the packaging process.
• Manually place fruit into containers for packing.
• Apply labels, tape cartons, and prepare products for shipping.

Requirements :

• 1 year as a Machine Operator
• Ability to safely and efficiently set up and operate automated bagging equipment.
• Physical capability to lift bags and perform manual tasks as part of the job.
• Proficiency in operating various machinery related to the packing process.
• Skill in labeling, taping, and preparing cartons for shipping.
• Capability to move and stack cartons on pallets efficiently.

Pay Rate and Shift :

• 5 to 7 Days a week
