Our client, a distribution facility is looking for a Inventory Control Clerk near Fairfield, CA. . As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in compiling records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.

Duties :

• Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
• Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
• Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
• Studies records and recommends remedial action for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.

Experience :

• 3 years related experience.
• Recent Experience using Sit-Down Forklift
• Recent Experience with Warehouse Inventory Management
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Spanish is a plus.
• Punctual and reliable.
