We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our clients team, a fresh bakery in Hackensack, NJ. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to their customers.

This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Make 15-20 stops per day to deliver products to various stores.
• Bring loads inside the stores and ensure proper placement and arrangement of products in freezers.
• Count and take pictures of products after arranging them in the freezer.
• Drive an air brake truck safely and efficiently to all delivery locations.
• Operate a pallet jack to move and unload products.
• Scan boxes to ensure accurate inventory and delivery records.
• Obtain signatures from receivers as proof of delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Follow all safety and traffic regulations while driving and performing job duties.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and store personnel.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving an air brake truck.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to count and document deliveries accurately.
• Basic proficiency in using a smartphone or handheld device for scanning boxes and taking pictures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
