Responsibilities :

• Perform a variety of assembly operations including adhering, hooking, snapping in place, stuffing, and filling component parts.
• Visually inspect parts for proper form, surface defects, slug marks, and foreign material.
• Operate manual machine operations on a variety of machines including single-stroke punch press, trim press, pneumatic press, spring grinder, resistance welder, timesaver, and parts washing machine.
• Utilize kick and hydraulic presses to stake, punch, insert screws, and form component parts.
• Operate spring looping machine, ensuring proper positioning of parts in machine fixture and visually checking springs for defects;

may use gauges for measurement.

• Pack items, stack them in cartons, apply labels (if necessary), and place cartons on the skid.
• Sort and rework parts as required following established department procedures.

Qualifications :

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changes in tasks and priorities.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hands to handle or feel component parts, lift, carry, pack, and reach with hands and arms.
• Capable of standing, walking, and / or sitting as required for the full shift.
• Ability to exert physical effort required to handle parts and tools, as well as lift and move up to 35 pounds frequently and properly.

Pay Rate / Shifts :

• $15.00 to $16.00 per hour
• Monday to Thursday
• 1st Shift : 5 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM
• 2nd Shift : 2 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM
