GENERAL INFORMATION
Title: SY 24-25 Tennis Head Coach - Boys and Girls	Department: Dunbar Middle School	Salary Grade: N/AFLSA Status: Exempt
Site/Location: Dunbar Middle School	Reports to: Athletic Director	Date:5/9/2024
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides instruction to student-athletes in the skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for the team and individuals playing tennis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Instruct players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport. Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises. Assesses players’ skills, and monitors players during competition and practice. Determines game strategy and supervises athletes during practices and competitions.

Past play experience in tennis. Preference is given to those with coaching experience.
