SUMMARY : GJL Farms is seeking to add sow farm caretakers to their team in the western Missouri and Southern Iowa areas.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensuring sows have appropriate daily care through proper function of feed and water systems and identification of sow illness and injury.

Assisting in processes involving sow breeding and sow estrus identification.Training gilts for Nedap and Gestal feed stations.

QUALIFICATIONS : Valid driver's licenseAble to work in confinement buildingsAble to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Able to perform general repairs in office, yards building, and grounds WORK ENVIRONMENT : The work environment and physical characteristics are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
