Lynch Family Companies is Hiring an Assistant Station Manager Near Le Mars, IA

Job Description ASSISTANT STATION MANAGER SUMMARY: Responsible for the proper handling of livestock that includes: sorting, counting, weighing, and tattooing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Maintain accurate inventory of livestock
- Sorting
- Loading/unloading
Supervise and coordinate yard personnel
Hauling livestock
Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
Fills in for Station Manager when needed
Administrative responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid drivers license and insurable under company guidelines
- May be required to obtain a CDL
Maintain certification and follow all TQA Guidelines in the Humane Handling of Livestock
General Maintenance of grounds, facilities, and equipment
- Alleyways, pens, and chutes
- Vehicles and skid steers
- Mowing and weeding
Work well with livestock customers and plant personnel
