Job DescriptionASSISTANT STATION MANAGERSUMMARY:Responsible for the proper handling of livestock that includes: sorting, counting, weighing, and tattooing.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
Able to work overtime as needed
Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Maintain accurate inventory of livestock
Sorting
Loading/unloading
Supervise and coordinate yard personnel
Hauling livestock
Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
Fills in for Station Manager when needed
Administrative responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid drivers license and insurable under company guidelines
May be required to obtain a CDL
Maintain certification and follow all TQA Guidelines in the Humane Handling of Livestock
General Maintenance of grounds, facilities, and equipment
Alleyways, pens, and chutes
Vehicles and skid steers
Mowing and weeding
Work well with livestock customers and plant personnel
