Photographer/Videographer

Lyman Products, a leader in the shooting sports industry for over 140 years, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our marketing team. This position involves creating dynamic photos and videos for a wide range of products for use in print, website, youtube, social media and other applications. Applicants must be creative, able to work independently and as part of a team, and highly organized.

Summary/Objective

• Create videos and photos for all products for use in a myriad of applications; in the catalog, on the website, for dealers to use on their websites, for Amazon, for advertising, etc.
• Create eye-catching content for social media – Facebook and Instagram, as well as design and schedule eblasts to various audiences for new product announcements, events, and other updates.

Essential Functions

Videographer/Photographer:

1. Create videos for various uses such as instructional videos for customer service, “how to sell” videos for sales reps, sizzle videos for website and promotion, etc.

2. Create photos for all products for use in a myriad of applications, in the catalog, on the website, for dealers to use on their websites, for Amazon, for advertising, etc.

3. Keep the ftp site up to date and organized with current photos of all products.

4. Send out or upload photos to dealers.

5. Create photos for Amazon to meet their specific file requirements.

Social Media:

1. Create eye-catching content for social media – Facebook and Instagram

Eblasts:

1. Design and schedule eblasts to various audiences for new product announcements, events, and other updates.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Minimum High School diploma
• Knowledge of various graphics programs: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Knowledge of basic computer programs: Word, Excel, Power Point
• Talent for videography/photography (ability to create interesting and engaging videos and photos)
• Ability to work with others to gather information and assure correctness of photos
• Must show a portfolio of photo examples

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or training in photography and/or graphic design preferred
• Knowledge of or interest in shooting sports or reloading a huge plus

Working conditions

This job requires taking photos and videos in various settings ranging from the indoor photo studio to outdoors in multiple locations, on the shooting range, also both indoors and outdoors, in the manufacturing plant, etc.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

· This is a full-time position, Days and hours of work week are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Physical Requirements:

· This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
