We are seeking a full-time permanent Physical Therapist to work an Sports Orthopedic clinic in Dallas, TX. Please see details below -

Full-time: Monday-Friday, no weekends.

Pay: Open to discussion - mainly based off years of experience in the field and role.

• Physical Therapist License/Certificate upon hire
• Ideally, prior experience in an outpatient Ortho/Sports setting

Tasks -

• Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self management and assistive equipment.
• Communicates with physicians and other healthcare personnel as appropriate regarding patient care issues.
• Reviews available medical records and obtains pertinent medical history from patient or family.
• Evaluates each patient using age and diagnosis appropriate assessment tests and measurements, including appropriate outcome assessment tool(s).
• Determines plan for care, and/or appropriate therapeutic interventions to achieve stated goals.
• As appropriate / required, completes required outcome tools and any additional documentation for outpatients, acute stroke patients and for specialty units/programs
• Utilizes available resources (equipment, support personnel, educational resources) to maximize efficiency and productivity and to meet personal developmental needs.
• Willing to be cross-trained to treat any diagnosis or level of care.

Requirements

• Have manual therapy experience and ability to perform without machines.
• Prior PT experience, ideally in Sports Ortho/PT

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
