We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients. This position is based in a hospital setting and requires expertise in acute care and patient service.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist

- Perform medication inventory management and restocking

- Assist with medication compounding, including IV infusion and inhalation preparations

- Utilize aseptic technique when handling sterile products

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication administration

- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and concerns

- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician

- Previous experience in a hospital or critical care setting preferred

- Proficient knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication administration

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, specifically DigitalRX
