LWBS is Hiring a BHT (Behavioral Health Technician) Near Philadelphia, PA

Laila Way Behavioral Services is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company based out of Philadelphia. We pride ourselves on providing function-based treatment to the individuals we serve.

We are currently expanding our company and are looking for Behavior Health Technicians to service clients in the Philadelphia region! !

  • 1 year of experience working with children is required!
  • Must have completed the 40-hour RBT coursework.
  • Must have valid PA clearances.

We are currently looking for individuals interested in working in community positions.

  • Responsible for providing one-on-one interventions to children or adolescents in the clinic, home, school, daycare, or other community settings.
  • Will work under the guidance and leadership of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Licensed Behavior Specialist.
  • Specific services include: direct instruction utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior, implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Social Skills training, data collection, and collaboration with other team members serving each student and supporting the school and home caregivers
  • Collecting data about students’ behaviors through direct observation.
  • Assisting BCBAs as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
  • Teaching students the specific behavior skills called for in treatment plans.
  • Nurturing students’ social skills.
  • Communicating behavioral intervention results in students’ parents and caregivers.

Clearances:

  • Act 34: PA State Police Criminal History
  • Act 151: PA Child Abuse Clearance
  • Act 114: FBI – Federal Criminal History Clearance
  • PA Mandated Reporting Certificate
  • CPR Certification

A high school diploma/ GED is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
