Orbital Analyst LV8D Solutions is looking for an Orbital Analyst to with development and verification of requirements dealing with the amount of delta-V needed to support all necessary functions of the spacecraft mission. This position requires that a successful candidate demonstrate a technical understanding of space systems, orbital mechanics, and the ability to create models to analyze verification data. Qualifications: Education / Experience: • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience • Degree in Aerospace Engineering or other engineering discipline Clearance: • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Requirements / Responsibilities: • Support capability and solution definition for future space systems through various system readiness events and independent review teams • Track, monitor, analyze, and verify all spacecraft orbit capabilities. • Supports development and verification of delta-V requirements. • Supports payload calibration activities by analyzing real-time data and providing feedback to the government. • Assist in requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, and system & operational performance analysis. • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications. • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. • Plans and executes modeling and simulation systems development projects.
