Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials, supplies, and equipment inventory
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform medical documentation and record patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic
- Assist with patient assessment and triage
- Provide assistance in pediatric dentistry

-Answering phone, scheduling appointments, and insurance verification.

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in medical coding and billing procedures
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations
- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

• spanish and/or vietnamese (Required)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
