Job description
The Deputy Project Manager (Civil Construction Expert) will provide the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of construction projects as directed. This role will encompass the planning, execution and closeout of the project's strict deadlines and budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and to deliver the specific project according to the specifications, drawings and executed design-build contract.
Responsibilities include providing PM subject matter expertise to support and successfully deliver a heavy civil/ earthwork transit project, chair progress meetings, coordinate resolution of technical matters, ensure contractor means and methods are technically sound and safe, management of project engineers, inspection staff and project scheduling.

Knowledge of Civil Construction, Earthwork, and Tunneling construction. Ability to apply efficient, innovative, and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance and project success. Thorough understanding of industry practices and standards, processes, and activities.
