We are seeking a skilled Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients in understanding their treatment options and coordinating their dental care.

Duties:

- Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have

- Coordinate appointments and schedule follow-up visits for patients

- Assist with medical coding and billing processes

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems in Open Dental

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

- Collaborate with dental receptionists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

- help the patients sign up to financing when needed using Cherry, Care credit, or Basis

- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify coverage and submit claims - Maintain accurate and organized patient records - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care Requirements: - Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator or similar role in a dental or medical office - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Proficient in using dental software systems

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator or in a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment plans is highly desirable

- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes is an asset

- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Open Dental

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
