LUX DENTAL STUDIO is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Houston, TX

JOB TITLE: BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) DENTAL ASSISTANT

Location: 12230 West Lake Houston Parkway, Suite 225 Houston, Texas 77044

Office Name: LUX DENTAL STUDIO

Lux Dental Studio is seeking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented dental assistant to work with us in a part-time basis with the possibility to transition into a full-time position. WE ARE IN NEED FOR AN ASSISTANT ON MONDAYS 9-6pm or 1-6pm to supplement the second shift rush. Our practice is a private practice (NO DSO), female, and minority owned dental office. We are located in North East Houston in the Suburbs of Atascocita, Summerwood area. We are looking for a committed, flexible team member that can be reliable and willing to grow as the practice grows.

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Dental Assisting: minimum 1 year (Required) But no experience also considered. Doctor is willing to train appropriate candidate.
  • Registered Dental Assistant Certificate (Required)
  • Coronal Polishing certification (Preferred but not necessary)
  • X-Ray Certification (Required)
  • BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) language IS REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB

· Ability to take direction from supervisors

· Flexible availability

· Organizational skills

Experience is required as you would be the sole assistant most days. Must have training in impressions, provisional crowns prep, loading trays, multi-tasking.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Prepare patients for oral examination and assist dental providers in chair-side procedures

· Prepare rooms and set up instruments

· Take records, impressions, and high-quality radiographs (Digital sensors)

· Provide oral hygiene education to patients and families

· Prepare and maintain accurate OSHA records, logs and reports

· Complete and maintain dental laboratory forms

· Sterilize instruments, organize instruments.

· Other duties as assisting front desk tasks when needed and answering phones.

Work Location:

Job Type: Part-time with possibility to transition to Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour depending of experience and with ability to increase after demonstrating proficiency with specific dental task.

Monthly Bonus system once patient base has been stablished.
