Lutheran Social Services is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Sioux Falls, SD

 

Are you an experienced biller looking for the opportunity to serve SD Communities? As a Billing Specialist, you have the opportunity to work with a variety of our service lines and vendors in order to help us fulfill our mission of service.

HOURS: Full-time, Business Hours, Monday through Friday (No evenings or weekends!)

SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include billing of mental health, substance use, and adoption services to various funding sources including: Insurance, EAPs, Medicaid, and Medicare; Management of outstanding claims by following up with pay sources and clients to include resolving outstanding balances or billing errors; Generating monthly client statements and agency reports as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree in Business, Healthcare or Accounting, or a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, accuracy and ability to multi-task are required. Experience with health insurance, ICD-10 coding, CPT codes and EOB’s preferred.

Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
