Essential Functions:

• Assist in day to day of client’s functioning and reporting changes to his/her supervisor.
• Ensure client’s independence and dignity by assisting with household chores.
• Escort clients to outings, appointments, etc. in the community.
• Complete appropriate documentation.
• Improve the quality of life by following the client’s Plan of Care.
• Present an open, positive, professional image to all clients and individuals. 
• Support clients with personal care needs, not limited to medication reminders.

Position Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience in homecare.
• One year experience preferred in home care or human service field; or comparable experience care of a dependent child or adult family member Ability to use technology.
• Ability to show compassion for the needs of clients.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to get to and from a client's home.
