As a Housing Case Manager, you will provide case management services and housing intervention to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. In this role you will work with families and individuals to improve the quality of individual lives, strengthen family functioning, and educate for more effective community living.

Hiring bonus of $800 will be paid half at hire and second half paid at 6 months.

Housing Case Manager Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent experience in a human services field required.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in providing direct or in-direct social services required.
  • Knowledge of counseling theory and techniques; chemical dependency treatment, physical or sexual abuse treatment required.
  • Knowledge of Harm Reduction and Housing First Model.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, positively, and professionally with participants, providers, family members, and others.
  • Able to promote a positive, supportive, and collaborative atmosphere.

Additional Housing Case Manager Qualifications:

  • Previous experienced working with low-income families and those experiencing homelessness preferred.
  • Social Work License preferred.
  • Training in working with low-income families and those who are homeless preferred.
  • Knowledge of related issues in chemical dependency, mental health, parenting, sex trafficking and domestic violence preferred.
