Under the general direction of the IS Manager, coordinates the implementation, maintenance, and support of all clinical

applications.

Experience:

Additional education/experience in information services a plus.

Education:

Minimum of an Associate's Degree or clinical certification with three to five years of clinical experience; two years of experience in computer based clinical systems.

Job Knowledge & Skills:

1.) Participates in related committees, as required.

2.) Collaborates with other hospital system coordination staff regarding integration issues and clinical information.

3.) Prepares reports and other related documentation, as requested.

4.) Develops a method of evaluation to monitor satisfaction of system customers and identify areas needing improvement.

5.) Demonstrates strong working knowledge of clinical practices and system software.

6.) Requires strong analytical and organizational skills in order to analyze, develop and document system and interface design and requirements in coordination with user needs and other hospital staff.

7.) Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to interact effectively with internal and external customers as needed.
