Lutheran Hospital of Indiana is Hiring an Applications Analyst I Near Fort Wayne, IN

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Desktop Services Manager, the Client Solutions Analyst will Independently Install, support, maintain and monitor systems and network Infrastructure, computer hardware and software and 3"' party related systems for critical reliably and maximum uptime for provider practice sites. Under little supervision, provides analytical and end-user technical support while using considerable judgment and initiative. As part of the team, the Client Solutions Analyst will be required to provide technical project leadership, infrastructure and system guidance, and detailed understanding of complex vendor-supplied computer system hardware and software.

Position will assist in the administration and support of the overall server and network environment white executing the processes and procedure required to maintaining a high level of service to end user hardware and system support. As part of a team, this position will Involve creating and maintaining graphical and text-based documentation and standards development for the enterprise systems Infrastructure.

Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications

  • 6 years direct experience administering vendor systems and end user hardware and software.
  • At least 2 years' experience administration of vendor Electronic Medical Records and related systems, Allscripts systems preferred, but not required.
  • Technical knowledge of various server and desktop hardware, operating systems, and exposure to modem L6l-lmAN protocols.
  • Direct experience scheduling and coordinating third-party vendors performing repairs and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices, Including HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Registration/Certification/licensure:

CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , and/or Microsoft technical certification required within first year of employment.

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer, Science or related field with at least 5 years of experience, or et least 8 years progressively more responsible experience In supporting computer hardware and software Is required.
  • Previous experience In health care is a plus

Job Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrates ln-depth knowledge of micro/pc systems, software products, data base management, and networking.
  • Requires strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively support and Integrate e diverse micro/pc system user population as an ongoing technical resource In system utilization and selection.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with all end users, team members, and management staff.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.
