Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Translator/Interpreter to join our team. As a Translator/Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your role will involve translating written documents and interpreting spoken conversations to ensure accurate and clear understanding. Responsibilities:
- Communicate fluently in at least two languages, including English
- Translate written documents from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning
- Interpret spoken conversations accurately and efficiently
- Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation during meetings, conferences, or other events
- Assist with cultural adaptation to bridge communication gaps
- Research and stay updated on industry-specific terminology and language trends
- Collaborate with other translators/interpreters to ensure consistency and accuracy in translations
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Translator/Interpreter or similar role
- Proficient in multiple languages, including American Sign Language (ASL)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and other languages
- Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both source and target languages
- Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of cross-cultural communication dynamics
