We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Foster Care Program Manager to provide oversight, manage and coordinate services to Foster Care clients and for Foster Care licensing throughout the state.

Duties

  • Manage and coordinate Foster Care & Licensing services and case management provided to clients are implemented consistently and with fidelity throughout the state to ensure high quality, consistent and stable services are provided. Provide direct client services as needed.
  • Provide supervision and management to Foster Care & Licensing team(s) of social workers / case managers, and students throughout the state office locations.
  • Train, assess, communicate, and coordinate consistent training and orientation for staff and students to meet the goals and objectives of the Foster Care & Licensing programs, agency, and Children's Division.
  • Provide oversight of the management and implementation of the Foster Care & Licensing contract(s) throughout the state, including monitoring, report writing, preparing for audits, participate in the writing of new grants, contracts and or renewals specifically related to Foster Care & Licensing, to ensure expectations and targets are met.
  • Represent and present on behalf of the agency professionally in the community, with state agencies and personnel, peer agencies, and collaborative partners to advocate on behalf of our clients / parents and support the mission of the agency.
  • Participate in department and agency Administration and Management teams as needed to provide support and guidance regarding the Foster Care & Licensing programs to achieve outcome and results. Maintain outcome measures and data points.
  • Direct outreach and marketing efforts regarding services & Foster Parent recruitment pertaining to Foster Care & Licensing, as needed.
  • Provides oversight and audits of staff services provided to clients within the Foster Care & Licensing programs meet Children’s Division, contract, court and agency expectations.


Minimum Education and Experience:

Master's degree in Social Work or related field. 3 years’ experience working in family and children’s services.


Preferred Qualifications:

Professional licensure (LPC or LCSW) in the state of Missouri and two years of supervisory experience.


Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of children and families involved in Foster Care system & Foster Care Licensing. Established social work and case management practices. Computer programs and use; Social Work Code of Ethics; legal processes and procedures; accreditation and licensure standards; foster care and adoption issues; capable of functioning independently, utilizing critical thinking skills by practicing good judgment and discretion in decision making. Self-motivational and self-management skills. Ability to lead a team of staff and community partners. Excellent communication, interpersonal, written, presentation, time management and organizational skills.
